Wei Mountain Temple 潙山寺Wei Mountain Temple was established and opened its door to the public in 2018 after 2 years of intensive renovation of a former Presbyterian church built in 1925 in Rosemead, California. The old church needed major repairs and restoration due to the lack of maintenance over a few decades.
Our founding teacher, Master YongHua and his disciples worked tirelessly to the search and supervision of the renovation and now it's ready to serve the community and accommodate more people who are willing to dedicate their lives to cultivate. We will be able to offer much needed space for meditation retreats, Dharma assemblies, children programs and community events. |

Sponsor a Buddha Statue
The Buddha hall of Lu Mountain Temple 廬山寺 (Our first temple, 5 minutes away from Wei Mountain Temple) is beautifully adorned with the installation of one thousand Shakyamuni Golden Buddha statues. These statues are available for sponsorship. Sponsorship donations will support Bodhi Light International in renovating Wei Mountain Temple that will make Mahayana Buddhism accessible to more people.
Traditionally, it is believed that by sponsoring one of the Buddha statues, you not only bring blessings to yourself, your family and your home or business, but you also accumulate immeasurable merit by contributing to those who cultivate the way.
